Some
of the most memorable holiday experiences for me were the wonderful
Christmas holidays I celebrated in Germany!.
I was so fortunate to experience Christmas in Europe and enjoy the
numerous customs of the holiday season . There
were wonderful Christmas markets that were held outdoor in most towns and
cities during the four weeks of the Advent season leading up to
Christmas. The markets consisted of decorated wooden huts that sold
toys, jewelry, dolls, ceramic dishes, scented candles, and so much more ! Not
only was shopping an activity to enjoy, but there were traditional foods and
drinks to savor.
Right next door to Germany – in
the Netherlands – one could enjoy the sites and sounds of their holiday
traditions. The following products are
