During our recent
“trip” to Greece, we found out that one type of animal that lives in Greece is
the sea turtle. Since most of the class was not sure about sea turtles, we
decided to do some investigating. The students were able to find out some
interesting facts about what sea turtles eat, the parts of their body and where
they live. They were especially amazed
by the fact that they have been living on earth since before the dinosaurs!
These fascinating
creatures are an endangered species, so we hope the research they did will help
our students remember the importance of keeping the habitats of all animals
safe.
